Simple Testers for Antifreeze and Batteries
Three new testers from Laser will ensure antifreeze is always at the correct strength and battery fluid in peak condition.
There are two antifreeze testers, one for propylene glycol (part 4292), and the other for ethylene glycol (part 4293). Fluid is drawn into the tester and a number of floating discs indicate the level of coolant present. Over protection, is flagged by a floating orange disc. The tools will test at hot and cold temperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Note: more than 70% antifreeze in the system will give less protection as pure antifreeze freezes at -6oF A sound battery depends on the correct density of the battery electrolyte, and the easiest way to check this is by using Laser Tools battery tester (part 4294). Results can be read at a glance and corrective action taken to ensure the battery will not fail. .
