Special Injector Puller for VW & Audi PD Injectors
The Laser Injector Puller for VW and Audi TDi PD engines (part no: 5478) is designed for quick and professional extraction of the PD type of injector and is a major timesaver for the technician.
Although the injectors don't suffer seizure like other types, the removal can sometimes be problematic due to limited space. Use of unsuitable tools can result in damage to the injectors themselves or the solenoids.
The set provides pulling methods for a number of different engine applications and includes a slide hammer designed to be used in conjunction with the puller. This sort of tool needs to be strong and this one is, manufactured from chrome molybdenum and S45C steel. A professional bit of kit for the professional technician.
The injector is typically secured with an M6 spline headed clamping bolt and the Laser Spline Bit (part no: 5479, sold separately) is designed just for this. Slim design and the 75mm long bit make light work of the usual restricted access and together with the 5478 puller this sometimes tricky job can be carried out with ease.
