Shock those seized lambda sensors into submission with the new air hammer powered sensor removal tool

Fitting a new lambda oxygen sensor sounds easy doesn’t it? But the old one will be seized solid — it will be stuck, you’ll never get it off. Reach for Laser Tools’ lambda sensor remover (part number 6098), a new attachment for your trusty air hammer.

The sensor remover comprises the 22mm lambda sensor socket, with slot to get past the wiring, and the operating rod, which is a useful 200mm long and gives excellent access to those tucked away sensors. The air hammer shock and vibration makes light work of even the most stubborn sensors.

If access is very restricted then it’s better to remove the exhaust section and move to the bench. You can bet that the sensor will still be seized through, but the sensor remover will release it in seconds and ensures that no further strain is put on the exhaust system. The socket also includes a 3/8" drive slot which allows the use of a torque wrench when installing the new sensor.
