Worn, damaged or rounded-off nuts or bolts can be difficult to remove — resorting to a hammer and chisel or an angle grinder can harm the operator as well as damaging components. Part of Laser Tools’ ever expanding HGV range, these damaged nut or bolt removers (part number 6337) are designed to securely grip and bite into the damaged nut resulting in speedy removal.

The set of six ¾" drive sockets (27mm, 30mm, 32mm, 33mm, 34mm and 36mm) are manufactured from high strength SCM440 grade alloy steel with a HRC45-48 hardness rating to withstand repeated use in tough workshop conditions. The sockets are surface-finished with manganese phosphate and supplied in a handy case for neat storage in the tool box.

And once it has been removed, how do you get that firmly-wedged nut back out of the socket? Well, a neat touch is that Laser has also supplied a hard chrome plated punch bar to drive the nut out of the socket.

This set is a useful addition to the HGV workshop and available now from your Laser Tools stockist.
