The tool is hand-operated and works on thin wall annealed brake pipe or tubing and is adjustable for three sizes, 5mm, 6mm and 10mm. Suitable for copper, copper-nickel or steel brake pipes and 10mm copper microbore pipe used for central heating and air-conditioning installations.

Once the pipe straightener is adjusted to the correct size, the pipe is simply uncoiled then steadily pushed through the tool; then the tool is run backwards and forwards along the length of the pipe, the smooth bearings of the steel rollers making this an easy task.
